MY THOUGHTS: I was captivated by this book! Ok, I read it while actually sailing across the Atlantic Ocean, so this gave it extra meaning for me. I loved all the history and stories of the sea. The writing is well-researched and elegant. It was enjoyable for me from beginning to end.
